simplicity
Ewww... clearing off all the cob webs...
Well... nothing special in life... everything were just simple, ordinary... ordinary sweet...
its been a yr since the blog been abandone...
life for me had totally changed... perphaps it growing up...
group of frens change, worklife change, love life change, mentality change...
finally found someone who can be trusted, can be lean on... believing in love, believing in marriage... everyday just me & u, me & u, me & u...
no more clubbing... no more aimlessly hanging around...
just work... slp... rest... tv, movie, food...
perphaps this is the simplicity that am always looking out for... *bliss*

I.T. Guru
u will nv believe that am jus really so crazy abt jay chou... finally i got the tix... hee... thru M1... subscribe to a new mobile contract plus a home broadband bring u a pair of jay's concert tix... thou its miserable $98 seats but better den nth at all..
and it gave me a chance to visit sim lim... cos M1 broadband dun come wif router... and i seriously can't live without a router... well, spend $50+ on a router and $70 on a external DVD writer... urgh... in case u guys wonder y i get a dvd writer, it due to a great fall for my lappy, my internal dvd drive become faulty... and ya... after so many mths i decided to do something...
anyway, its so interesting out there... and only den i realize... I was been cheated for money some times back in Sim Lim... tat bloody guy who i bought the bloody ex DS charger from, who den also charge me damn ex for the screen protector and clear case... he try to cheat me by asking me to replace my R4 wif R4 upgrade and claim tat the old R4 not outdated and can't play those latest DS games... today when i head back to the same shop, another guy told me that its a total bullshit! oh damn it... curse tat rubbish man... no wonder when i ask for R4 upgrade ppl give me that 'question mark' face... ended up i ask abt wii... having a big headache whether to take a mod set or not... mod set can play downloaded games but easily damage... but leave it till later, not gonna get it so soon...
and so wat's the 'in' thing now...? they got this thumb drive size device which allow u to gain access to china tv channel, tw channels, movies, etc, on ur comp... $150++
and the other device, something like a SCV cable which connect to ur tv set and stream movie thru the network... tat cost ard $250++
am rather tempted to get another device which is the media player, it connect your tv set to ur hard disk, so u can watch all downloaded clip thru TV and no more staring @ lappy screen... cheapest @ $39 but i spent enough for all these so shall give it a miss..
lastly, do check out sim lim for all the new technology... interesting indeed...

Little lizards make big money
JAKARTA - A TINY Indonesian lizard has become big business for impoverished villagers in Indonesia, where growing Asian demand for reptile-based traditional medicines has driven a boom in gecko farming.
Geckos - the pale, soft-skinned lizard with a distinctive call - are abundant in Indonesia and are believed by Chinese and Korean traditional medicine devotees to help cure cancer as well as skin and respiratory diseases.
In rural Banjarsawah village, on the eastern half of Java island, struggling farmers have discovered geckos make a surprisingly lucrative commodity. Tohasyim, 32, a farmhand who earns 10,000 rupiah (S$1.39) a day feeding other people's cattle, now makes 1 million rupiah or about US$110 a month hunting geckos in a local forest.
'I start hunting the geckos in the evening after I finish my job, feeding other people's cattle. I normally start hunting the geckos at 6 in the evening until 5 in the morning,' said Tohasyim, who, like many Indonesians, has only one name.
The industry began four years ago when one villager, Abdurrahman, began drying geckos at home and selling them to an exporter. Now, more than 100 hunters scour the forest nightly catching the skittering lizards and delivering them to Abdurrahman, 40, who delivers them to the exporter.
Most villagers in Banjarsawah are now involved in dried gecko production. Hunters venture into the forest in groups of four or five, wearing battery-powered head lamps and catching the lizards with their gloved hands. About a dozen workers, mostly housewives, spend days stretching, drying, and packing the lizards. They often work from 7 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon in the dark woven bamboo house of the industry's owner. When demand is high, they work even longer. Year 2010
wow... tats fast... a yr gone... what can i say... a pretty tough year that i hav been thru'... the poorest year of my life... but still its not the worse... at least i experience how is it like to build ur own empire, thou' i din really succeed but i dun see myself as a loser... cos i gain experience that no one does... at least i tried, tats y no regret... not been spending like i did in the past years... again... desolo had always a lot of wants tat are un-fulfilled... i guess i should stick on to my career for the time being... as for biz... i prefer to do it as an interest or passion rather den a money earning tools... i guess the best i got from 2009 is that i got myself a guy who may not be the best but just the right person... jus so many things tat i prefer to keep it to myself den to share... so wassup for 2010? so many new yr resolution... thou' it come a little late but yup.. still not too late... there u goes:
DeSoLo's new yr resolution:
1. To travel to Jakarta, visit my inker gang... (which definitely will come thru in Apr)
2. To lose weight (which am doing so but still working on it)
3. To Learn driving
4. To pick up foreign language (should be Indonesia Bahasa, so that i can communicate with my tattooists)
5. To start joint saving with Dar, at least a $250 each per mth for marriage.
6. To go for makeover photo shoot with Ash & Dar
7. To go for my graduation family photo shoot
8. To complete my 2 tattoos: Gecko & Libra lady (am tired of all my 80% in progress work, i got to be stronger & bear the pain)
9. To expand my back tattoo
10. To renovate my room (tat hav to wait till sis moved out)
11. To travel to one of the beach hotel with dar
So far it should be jus that... other plans will be my life plan...
still considering... should i go into interior design? pick up professional photography? learn inking so as to bring my group of inkers to SG?

10 Principles for Peace of Mind
1. Do Not Interfere In Others' Business Unless Asked:
Most of us create our own problems by interfering too often in others' affairs. We do so because somehow we have convinced ourselves that our way is the best way, our logic is the perfect logic and those who do not conform to our thinking must be criticized and steered to the right direction, our direction. This thinking denies the existence of individuality and consequently the existence of
God.. God has created each one of us in a unique way.
No two human beings can think or act in exactly the same way. All men or women act the way they do because God within them prompts them that way. Mind your own business and you will keep your peace.
2. Forgive And Forget:
This is the most powerful aid to peace of mind. We often develop ill feelings inside our heart for the person who insults us or harms us. We nurture grievances. This in turn results in loss of sleep, development of stomach ulcers, and high blood pressure. This insult or injury was done once, but nourishing of grievance goes on forever by constantly remembering it. Get over this bad habit. Life is too short to waste in such trifles. Forgive,20Forget, and march on. Love flourishes in giving and forgiving.
3. Do Not Crave For Recognition:
This world is full of selfish people. They seldom praise anybody without selfish motives. They may praise you today because you are in power, but no sooner than you are powerless, they will forget your achievement and will start finding faults in you. Why do you wish to kill yourself in striving for their recognition? Their recognition is not worth the aggravation. Do your duties ethically and sincerely.
4. Do Not Be Jealous:
We all have experienced how jealousy can disturb our peace of mind. You know that you work harder than your colleagues in the office, but sometimes they get promotions; you do not. You started a business several years ago, but you are not as successful as your neighbor whose business is only one year old. There are several examples like these in everyday life. Should you be jealous? No.
Remember everybody's life is shaped by his/her destiny, which has now become his/her reality. If you are destined to be rich, nothing in the world can stop you. If you are not so destined, no one can help you either. Nothing will be gained by blaming others for your misfortune. Jealousy will not get you anywhere; it will only take away your peace of mind.

Reduce your material engagements and spend time in prayer, introspection and
meditation. This will reduce those thoughts in your mind that make you restless. Uncluttered mind will produce greater peace of mind.

Take charge of your life
in this sale trade since beginning of the year... and finally i realize alot of thing... the human joke... wat human joke? ppl who keep complaining abt the whole wide world but nv take action to pull themselves out of the dung! funny isn't it?
if u think educated ppl can earn big bucks, den go ahead and upgrade urself, be an educated person and work as a high paid management level associate.
If u think only bosses can earn big bucks, den take the challenge... no pain no gain... be ur own boss! be in sales! sell urself! wat can i say, marketing is everything! its all abt selling ur product, selling urself~!
If u keep complaining abt the whole wide world and claim tat u ain't the kind who can study, claim that u ain't the kind who can do sales, claim that u not the kind who can be boss, den quit complaining abt pay not enough, lifestyle not gd, money not enough, boss is mean, colleague sux, workplace politics! cos guess wat, serve urself rite, cos its u who refuse to get out of this dung! i have enough of nonsense from ppl who are stuck in shit and tell me 'hmmmm... its ok lah, am not interested in this kind of job, this kind of biz'! rubbish! u r at the verge of the cliff and yet u refuse to hold on to the survivor rope! u're nth diff from committing suicide!!! this kind of person should jus go and die... the thing is its fine that u die, but its the innocent kids that r left behind suffering... to me, kids are nv born to experience sufferings... they should enjoy like a kids and not take the rubbish create by the adults during their childhood time! but always, there r brainless and stupid ppl ard!
Buddhism have one saying: you dun offer the beggar money but show them, teach them how to earn a living. even if i hav the money, i won't lend these irresponsible idiots a single cent, they wan it, they earn it and not borrow and nv return!
i can't be the one carry u ard, i can only be the one teaching u how to walk!
i respect my sis, thou she always say that she dun hav a biz mind, thou she rejected my biz offer, but she noe what she wan and she still climbing up her ladder of success...
be focus, noe wat u wan and do wat u wan. cos the world won't change for jus u, but u can change for the world and create wat u wan...

Attending Boss Guan's festival
This is a very special yet interesting post... its kinda, hmmmm, i mean very religious... so if ya very sensitive abt religious stuffs... hmmm... better skip this entry... :)
well, had spent my last weekend at 關龍殿善堂, wonder wat's that? its a sin tua... hmmm... ya noe, taoism, the 'temple' that they worship their god... over here, they worship 关帝爷, whom we known as 关公, 关羽... yup yup, the one that u watch in red cliff, read in the historical novel: Romance of the Three Kingdoms. As everyone noe that he was respect for his loyalty and righteousness, until today he's still being greatly respect and worship by the people...
Thanks to dearie... my 1st real encounter with a sin tua... well, i hav been there quite a few times, so wat ppl doing over there? other den praying, during the lunar 1st and 15th of the mth, there are routine events gng on, for consultation... hmmm... dearie been there since his teenage, just out of curiosity, i 1st step into the sin tua 2 mths+ ago, wanting to take a look at the biggest "guan di ye" statue in singapore, he's standing at a height abt 2.5m. After that i often join dearie to the sin tua, din really pray but just accompany him :p
to be exact, that's not totally my 1st encounter. however, the time when i came across with all this stuffs, i'm only abt 7 or younger den that... i dun exactly noe what actually gng on, just seeing some trancing of gods, how exactly it happen or how it stop, i totally have no idea. i only noe when u see these ppl on the street, its some 'da ri zi' and u jus have to bring both ur palms together and pray... after some times, mum was no longer involve in all these and she turn into a Christian soon after grandpa and grandma died. my whole family become so "Christianize"... -_-! ok... i always been a free thinker... in fact am more toward Buddhism and Taoism, maybe due to my sec sch and my childhood times...
ok... back to topic... spend my whole of last weekend experiencing the practice and belief of taoism... gng thru' the entire ceremony... very interesting i'll say... there's so many things that u couldn't explain using scientific logic... especially trancing (起乩)... i shall leave the mystery unrevealed... well, if u wanna noe den ask me in private ba... anyway... do visit the their webby guanlongdianshantang.multiply.com

To be a better me
Back from my ABC course, Awareness Before Change.
Wat can i say? this cos is one of the best course i ever attend... nah! its not abt selling techniques and skills... its abt how to be a better me, suitable for everyone, even those who ain't financial adviser...
It taught me abt realizing my bad pt... cherish the ppl ard me especially my mum and dad, my family... thru' meditation, visualization, we r ask to do a reflection on our actions all these while... den we share our experience, share our life story... those tat are truely from the bottom of our hearts...
Shall not touch further on the course tat i went thru, jus wanna share the gd things tat i did since the day i came back.
Yesterday, i did a 'confrontation' wif my mum... i told her abt my dream of wanting to give them a better life, my wish to contribute the the family before its too late... i am aware of my bad temper and had been throwing tantrums at them and am sorry abt that... i'm changing, i promise tat i will change into a better person. sorry for making her upset, i love her and thank u for all wat she hav done... thou' i cried while saying all these, but when i see mum's tears, i noe tat all wat i hav said is worth of, i will do my best to improve myself and serve my duty as a daughter. now my relationship wif my family had improve and nth can be compare wif them nor replace them... i love my family... and i wan to make my house a better place to live in...
I learn abt making earth a better place for everyone, by being happy... when i'm happy, ppl ard will be happy too... dun fight anger wif anger, means when ppl try to make u angry, u dun respond wif anger... but respond the opposite, just be happy and tell the angry man to relax and stay cool... u will make his day... really... try it...

Tattoo Freak
ya ya... am the agent who advise u on ur financial... am oso the one who got alot of inks on me...
personally i dun think having inks is a hooligan act... In recent years, more and more people begin to accept tattoo as arts rather den a symbol of secret society... in the past, many of it do associate with the secret society out there, but not as much in today's world... Tattoo had become a form of art, a master pc which is seal on to a human canvas... nowadays people go for quality inks, artistic design, like:
oriental design - what we known as japanese drawings, koi fishes, phoenix, dragons, geisha, etc.
Portrait - basically to 'transfer' a photography on ur skin, portrait of a pet dog, portrait of your love one, etc.
Tribal - i dun think i'll need to further explain on tribal, every one noe abt it, its popular in the early 2000 i guess, however in the modern society today, people tend to look for something more complex. but still, some people prefer tribal to others.
Biomech - i only get to know this since early of the yr, how should i describe it... hmmm... it give me a very robotic, metallic kinda feel... more suitable for guys i feel... and this is the definition i got from some sites: "Artistic bodies and body parts that have the feel of biological and mechanical components. If you're a Star Trek fan, think "Borg". Wires, tubes, pipes, and hoses are common attributes of biomechanical designs."
Ripped off skin - One of my Fav, its ink in a way that u will visual ur skin as been ripped off kind, but of cos its not really been ripped, its just a 3D effect tat is done thru' tattoo... i heart this as its really a form of art, especially when u got someone who can do it so well, which make it look so real.
there's still so many kinda design out there, am just highlight a few common ones...
so far i hav just update my 1st ink, which is done like last yr oct... very fast, i had already got my 3rd ink done... a recap, my 1st ink which is a tribal Gecko design with a DeSoLo logo...
my 1st ink which is treated as a 23rd yr old birthday gift for myself... after a consideration of 2 yrs, since the age of 21, finally i got it done on my 23rd birthday. totally love this ink, even until today! as compared among all the inks i hav, this is the smallest, most painless... the tattoo process last abt an hr or so... done next to my belly button... i'll say tat area is a great spot to be ink on, least pain u will feel. but gers, do bear in mind tat in future when u get pregnent, the ink will be stretch and shrink after giving birth, the ink might go out of shape so...
and my 2nd ink, a Libra Lady. Done by my favorite Indonesian Tattooist, Mr AG from Brisik Tattoo. Got it done during the sg 1st tattoo show which is held in Jan 09 @ expo. it suppose to go for a competition title tattoo of the day, but sad to say, not able to finish it on time... so hav to give it a pass, shall wait for next yr's convention den...
its a detailed design, as u see this tattoo is rather complex and fill with different colours and details... it took a total of 10 hrs to "complete", 1st day i did a 7 hrs of inking str8 and continue another 3 hrs the next day right after... it sound crazy i noe... but hav to rush cos my tattooist is not local u see, he gng back to indonesia, i dun wanna leave my lady headless for like one yr... this ink took the longest time to complete, most detailed among the 3 and i consider it to be my largest pc so far... In fact, its only 90% done, there's still some flowers on the scale and some small details which need to be add on...
Finally, my 3rd ink, done on 7th July, just a few days ago... got it from Immortal tattoo... its the tattooist's specialty, vines designs...
As u can see, its not complete yet either, left with the infill of the remaining 3 stars, y is it so...? To painful to continue... opps =X
For those who can't take pain, pls nv nv nv try tattoo at places like this! its my most painful inking experience ever!!! the whole process took only ard 2 hrs, but its enough to kill me, unlike my back pc, i can endure for a 7 hrs, this i can't... its killing me... it hit all the sensitive areas, like the ribs, the area under arms and right in the middle of ur chest! its hell~! i regards this as the worse area to ink on, thou' it look really nice, but think twice b4 u do it... its too late for me to regret... once its done, i hav to complete it, else it will be like neither here nor there... argh... 2 weeks later when its heal, i hav to go back and colour the 3 stars as well as some touch up work to be done... :'( But still i love this new ink too... its vines with 7 stars, as u noe DeSoLo love stars and the no. 7, so this is how it came abt... ;) its in the process of healing, feeling damn itch now... but can't scratch... endure...
if u were to ask me, if i hav done enuff, the ans is no... i won't cover my whole body wif inks... i will only ink on place which i can hide under clothes.... like my back, my body... nothing shall be done on the hands, on the ankles, on the arms... inks to me is not something to show off... i dun carry the mentality of "tattoos have to be place in somewhere everyone can see, cos its for show off", this is not for me... I ink becos i love the arts, i love how this artist do their arts on skin... its not for show off, its for personal pleasure and liking... so ya... dun carry this stupid thots like 'DeSoLo is crazy, tattoo places like this, must well dun tattoo'... ppl who ink without thinking are the real crazy ones and stupid ones... do not allow ur hobbies, ur likings affect ur works... tats y its all hidden...
in fact, i already got my 4th inking waiting for me... it got to be done by AG, a 3D gecko standing on my lap, to be done on jan 2010, sg tattoo convention... waiting for his return... and lastly, an ink which i will get and i must get in time to come... which is a portrait of ash-boi on my should blade... :) if u love me, accept my passion for inking and accept my body of inks... *hug*

For those who can't take pain, pls nv nv nv try tattoo at places like this! its my most painful inking experience ever!!! the whole process took only ard 2 hrs, but its enough to kill me, unlike my back pc, i can endure for a 7 hrs, this i can't... its killing me... it hit all the sensitive areas, like the ribs, the area under arms and right in the middle of ur chest! its hell~! i regards this as the worse area to ink on, thou' it look really nice, but think twice b4 u do it... its too late for me to regret... once its done, i hav to complete it, else it will be like neither here nor there... argh... 2 weeks later when its heal, i hav to go back and colour the 3 stars as well as some touch up work to be done... :'( But still i love this new ink too... its vines with 7 stars, as u noe DeSoLo love stars and the no. 7, so this is how it came abt... ;) its in the process of healing, feeling damn itch now... but can't scratch... endure...
if u were to ask me, if i hav done enuff, the ans is no... i won't cover my whole body wif inks... i will only ink on place which i can hide under clothes.... like my back, my body... nothing shall be done on the hands, on the ankles, on the arms... inks to me is not something to show off... i dun carry the mentality of "tattoos have to be place in somewhere everyone can see, cos its for show off", this is not for me... I ink becos i love the arts, i love how this artist do their arts on skin... its not for show off, its for personal pleasure and liking... so ya... dun carry this stupid thots like 'DeSoLo is crazy, tattoo places like this, must well dun tattoo'... ppl who ink without thinking are the real crazy ones and stupid ones... do not allow ur hobbies, ur likings affect ur works... tats y its all hidden...
in fact, i already got my 4th inking waiting for me... it got to be done by AG, a 3D gecko standing on my lap, to be done on jan 2010, sg tattoo convention... waiting for his return... and lastly, an ink which i will get and i must get in time to come... which is a portrait of ash-boi on my should blade... :) if u love me, accept my passion for inking and accept my body of inks... *hug*

Porcupine
Nobody knows that DeSoLo can be so like a Porcupine... i can be nice, but at time i can't control my spike. dun get too near, i'll sting u...
the problem is i'll sting ppl who r very close to me... not like my fren, but ppl who r closer den frens... tats my problem... i believe everyone do hav an attitude problem tat is hidden, jus depend on whether its a very bad one or... to me... i consider myself as a rather bad one, but like i say i dun jus sting anyone...
I jus need some times on my own... maybe having expectation in ppl will jus make urself more miserable... the more u expect, the more disappointment u will face i guess...

Love exist in many forms... like towards self, family, friends, etc.
How people express love? possession. protection.
self-love... one have to learn to love themselves before loving someone else... as i believe that no one can love u more den u love urself... and only u urself can non-stop loving you...
Family-love... tats wat i call fate... we can't choose which family to be born in... we can't choose who to be our parent... its all pre-arrange and u dun hav a choice... so its fated... and it means by "LAW"... religious as i am, believers of reincarnation... i believe that there's a reason why we r born in this family and not that... something to do wif our past life... we r here to either pay-back or receive the good and bad that we hav accumulated in our previous life. *wink*
Fren-love... as time pass... i hav realize that frenship is somehow jus like those 'BGR'... u hav to hav chemistry, hav to get to noe one another, hav to 'commit' in a way... ppl view it in different ways... personally i feel that frens can be forever but its abt how to maintain it and how the other party synchronize with u... understanding is as important... prephaps u hav to gif in more den a BGR ba... must accept the facts that they hav some other commitment tat they can't always be there whenever u need them... alot of gif... same as u share ur happiness and sadness...
Love - partner... wow... this is the most complicated one... it is suppose to be one and only... but often its not... it suppose to be true, but often its not... high possibility to get hurt... like DeSoLo always say: Be in a Relationship, only if u're prepared to get hurt. If u're not prepared, den better dun be... :)
