my 2nd trip to bintan... its my heaven... beaches and sun...

None of wat rumors ppl spread... i.e. dirty beaches, horrible plc, etc. i do agree that its kinda expensive t shop there... well, after all its kinda very commercialize... its a tourists place of interest, of cos u will expect the expenditure to be high. If u wan cheap shopping paradise, head batam town resort, or bangkok, where most tourists went there for shopping... well, its BEACH resort, so the only best things is the BEACH... lovely sun and beautiful which u can nv find in anywhere of singapore, jus forget abt sentosa, its nth compare to oversea's beach resort... check out the pics i had taken...

Our room... we took Nirwana Beach Club, its more of a chalet style... as mention, its a BEACH CLUB, hence all sea sport activities are held here~! no beautiful swim pool, bath tubs and big king-size bed.... dun expect too much from here... but i'm happy enough cos its a last min booking... Thanks to Linda from Holiday Bagus, she give her reservation to me! else i can forget abt gng... :)

We reach there at ard 7pm local time, therefore no more sun... we jus jus in the dark and hunt for dinner...

The bloody chao cha bo from the beach club cause us to miss our bus to pasah oleh oleh (where the central market is, food are cheaper over there)... of no choice, we settle down at beach front resturant at nirwana resort, a 5 min walk away from our place. its cost us a bomb, a BBQ buffet with a bill of SGD$100 for two... hmmm... not tat ex... but i'm not prepare to spend so much on food~ anyway, the food is good... no doubt... at least better den the dinner i took at the level 2 bistro...
after the dinner, we walk to nirwana resort pool side and have a good chat... jus relax & enjoy... and stroll by the beach while we make our way back to the room... beach club have night party gng on at their very own pub by the beach... a small open air mini disco place... so if u're heading to bintan, may try walking to the beach club at nite as other resorts like nirwana and mayang sari will be kinda quiet during the nite... but u can always choose to stay in the room to watch ch 8, ch 5 , ch u, all the local tv channel... haha... BEH SIAN MEH?! forever~! OMG~!

The next morning we had schedule our day...

of cos we started off with the usual in-house free breakfast...

The morning beach... i miss it so much...

get change and get ready to get crazy~ too bad... there's only 2 of us, i can't take pic of our sea sport activities... anyway, we did kayaking... almost the same as cannoe but i can't picture out the diff.... my 1st time doing that... haha... my hands are so so tired lor... but its damn fun... haha.... cost us $18 for 2 person ride for an hr... have a short break and we head for the jet ski... when i insisted... haha... bloody ex, $45 for 15min, but i had nv tried b4, so i *fuck care ah! haha...

very fast, time out, we hurry for our mangrove day tour...

While on our way to the reception area, we spot a monitor lizard walking on the small lake which leads to the pond next to the rooms... no kidding, this lizard is bigger den those we saw at the mangroove forest...

Shortly after we reach the counter, the resort personnel took us to the mangrove plc...

1st we came to this stone, the fisherman there worship this rock, as during the high tide period the stone that is half emerge into the water make it look like a crocodile... hence the ppl believe that this rock which they known as crocodile god will bless them with more fishes and gd harvest...

The Kelong... 3 families actually stay by the river and they fish to earn their living....

The charcoal hives, the black colour thingy are all charcoal, this hive is formerly use for production of charcoal but now no longer in use...

the guide claim tat this is 'titanic'.. -_-! spot the heart with the arrow~! faint...

This trip really remind me of geography study during my sec 3 times... and yeah... the mangrove tree do eliminate the extra salt out from their 'body' naturally... the guide gave me a pc of the tree leave and can see bits of salt on the leave surface... i taste it... its salty... haha

Thru'out the journery, the guide intro us to all the different roots of mangrove trees, i.e. knee roots, breathing roots, etc. and one tat totally AMAZE me was... hmmm...

'standing roots' or something... he root will jut out of the water surface to catch the oxygen...
when i saw this, i keep laughing to myself... cos...

Dun u think it look like million of cocks standing on the water... wahahahahaha.....
end of my mangroove trip...

We went back to our 'house' after the trip to wash up and have a rest b4 heading to pasah oleh oleh...
Grab myself a pc of sarong, a shirt and a full body massage... but not fantastic at all... :( ah bao got himself a foot reflex but he dun enjoy it either.. i still prefer the uncle @ far East... ;p and... we have miss the dinner... :(
Head back to 'chalet', grab a thin crust pizza from the pub while listening to their live band singing R&B, nice wor... can really sing quite well... unlike the one i heard at Devils (they turn r&b into slow song, probably cos they can rap or wat)...
Back to the room, wanted to have some beer (cos i bought hoegarden @ DFS) in the room before joining the night party at the beach bar... but was too exhuasted... very fast i fall aslp....

Our last day @ bintan... i went to change my departure time, instead of 3.30pm, i change to 7.30pm... haha... as usual took the in-house breakfast den head back to resort and have a nap before check out at 1pm... after check out, we left the lugguage with the 'chalet' and continue enjoying our beach day... suntanning and swimming...

Is it the beach jus so beautiful...?! we even pick up some seashell and coral... :) remind me of my younger times when dad & Mum will bring mi & sis to beaches and pick sea shells...

The sea water is jus so clear... we even saw small fishes... nice...

YooooHoooo... i'm back... after ard a yr o torturing life as a tenancy exec... haha... i find out i hv so so much to tok abt... jus sooooo much... i dun noe where to start my DeSoLoGy....

anyway, i'll try and recall and blog as much as i could... i jus had a haircut @ reds... my preferred hair salon... i enjoy my every haircut session them... but i hate the facts that usually after a haircut, the hairstyle will have to take a few days to settle down and go in style... my current hairstyle jus look like a....

pathetic.... i will go and highlight my hair real soon... tired of this head of blacks strings....

recently the weather in sg is going mad... a late summer i'll says.... the season of hot humid weather came late this yr... usually this kinda climate will hit sg in march, but this yr march, was like dec rainy season, even for early april.... only until these days the weather turn real hot summer... and today, outside temperature might easily hit 34°C... Due to the wet climate, i had skip my weekend sun dating session.... and i have turn fair... haha... make an effort to have my long-forgotten sun-bath last sunday at my fav spot, sentosa KM8... good sunny day... and ended up i got myself 'chao tah', i was burned~ sun-burned! OMG! i can't accept it... i actually got sun-burn.... NO No nO no.... aloe vera and more aloe vera, finally it manage to save my beauty skin a little, but still... its itching every now and den... thanks to ah bao for her 'no-sunscreen' powerful banana boat suntanning oil... it really have no coverage at all... no worry, i'm recovering... and... i still wan sun... haha... wat till my skin settle down... *nob head*

i got so many things i wanna buy... i wan a hair curler... i saw this 10-in-1 curler by philips, so tempted... i can have the sexy big curl, trendy duper curl, silky rebonded, Q Q maggi mee head, maybe even AFRO....

after all this attractions, i began to download and listen to the oldies. other than the 2 songs mentioned, am into 夜上海, 夜来香, 不了情, etc.. i noe these song are really old... in fact ur might think Teresa Teng's are far better... but if u really concentrate on these songs, u will find that its nice... really gd... they can really sing, reach the high notes, constant, especially in their 拉音 damn power... Their chinese pronunciation is super... and enough, its not 'eerie' at all...

Throughout the ride, they were mocking him openly. When they decided they have made enough fun of the poor man, they pretended to have no money to pay for the SGD$10 ride and made the man follow them around like a beggar. The video clip ends abruptly but in an interview with "The Newpaper", the senior gentleman revealed that they left in the cab without paying.

Unlike what Bo Davis has claimed, the outbursts from the Singapore public have nothing to do with their race and nationality. If 3 local lads did the same thing to the elderly man, they will similarly be condemned and will eventually find their sorry asses in prison where they will be given "VIP" treatment. Bo Davis and his gang are lucky they are tourists and are now back home. In this part of the world, you simply cannot bully the elderly. If you did this in South Korea or China, the only way you can go home is in body bags.

On a side note, why are our elderly working such a tough job at such an old age? Is it because their public assistance grant of S$290/mth is not enough? I leave it to you to find out. These are the same people who built Singapore to what it is today but they can't enjoy the fruits of their labour and even have to be humiliated by tourists. This trishaw rider was a construction worker in his younger days so he literally built Singapore up! What is being done to help these people?

If you see senior citizens on the streets peddling their wares to earn a meagre living, please have a heart and buy whatever they are selling. Your comfortable lives in Singapore today are fruits of their labour.

Doggie Love...

these few days i came across alot of things that i really wish to pen it down... but... hehe... lazy... well... i'll start my love for doggies again...

was at this pet shop call 'pet stop' @ upper serangoon... ah bao's bro working there... went there to buy some stuffs for my little ashie boy... OMG... there's like so many doggies... simply love it so much...

recently i been to many pet shops, realize that nowadays not much sales of puppies in most of the pet shop... and even in shops like pet safari and the one at parkway, there's limited puppies... but at pet stop, there's plenty of these bunch of cuties...

haha... met this black english cocker spaniel, name 'blackie' by the shop owner... he's only ard a yr old, was abandoned and brought to the pet shop by passerby... the poor boy was believe to be abused and abandoned. he injured his spinal cord, its a permenant damage... the dog cant walk properly, suffer from pain still... and blackie really have a very beautiful face... he is so pretty... how i wish i can take him but mummy sure won't allow and worse that he's injured, not ez to handle... anyway this lovely boy is such a sweetie... hee... its a pity... but gd enuf, the pet shop is keeping him... they bought him to the beach and he can swim... surprisingly, this sweetie can 'run' real fast, even faster den a labordor... well, he will drag his feet and use his fore-leg to 'run' 1st, when it come to a point, he will flip his hind-leg and 'run', somehow not like normal dog, but he is faster den normal dog. can u imagine if his spine is perfectly normal, he would be a great runner..! i noe i'm like discribing an air plane when its departing... haha... but its true, according to ah bao's bao...

its funny rite... y would ppl abuse pets... especially dogs... are they mad or deprise from watever nonsense... all this ppl should jus die out of a sudden and go to hell...

2nd, not been suntanning these days... OMG! i'm super lazy, no wonder gain weight....

3rd, found my new hobbies... its kind of lame i noe... haha... i begin to enjoy prawning! haha... with my ah bao and his gang... yeah... 30 bucks for 3 hrs and only 6 prawns... haha... ah bao and me share one rod... we are lousy i admit... its ex but its jus for the kick... when u thot u caught one but it went off, and u jus lift the rod to check if the bait is ard, instead of the bait, u saw a prawn on it... tat's jus so fun.... hee...

another hobby, i'm hook to 'fishing', i mean 'fishing' those soft toys @ the arcade... haha... i'm childish i noe... lucky ah bao is there to be childish wif me... its this big machine with 2 deck and u have to scoop the sweet and drop it on the desk and it will push. anyway, u will get the toys in the end and plenty of sweets...

4th, found my new love... KUROMI, Sanrio character... i already post it on my previous entry... i simply love kuromi... i want plenty of it... but compare to hello kitty and my melody, kuromi stuff is quite rare in sg.... anyone gng taiwan? hongkong? japan? buy mi kuromi pls....

5th, been waiting to for the release of the movie, lust.cautious.... OMG... Tong Leong's movie by Lee An... i believe it will be a great show... Tony is acting as a bad guy this time rd and a violent guy... and Lee An have gd compliment to Tony, saying that he's a ideal actor that a movie director ever met. catching the sneak preview next wed with ah bao... yeah... can't wait for it...

6th, planning on a holiday trip... with my ah bao... haven't thot of where to go yet... bintan? taiwan? hongkong? thailand?

7th, changing course... changing to a facilities management course, it will take a yr and start next yr... will be super bz next yr... not much break for this as this cert will take only 1 yr.... jia you....
